The St. Anselm Institute for Catholic Thought initiated a new lunchtime reading and discussion series for faculty and students in the Fall 2008. This faculty-student lunch seminar typically meets in one of Mr. Jefferson's private upstairs rooms in Hotel E, conveniently located on the West Range, near Garrett Hall. Space is limited, so reservations by individuals are required for each session. The topic of each lunch is the life and writings of one of the 33 Doctors of the Church. A rotating set of UVA faculty attend each session. A short reading assignment on the selected Doctor is posted on the St. Anselm Institute website for all faculty and student participants to download and read prior to each lunch.
